A good book and a paraffin light, that's all you need to treat yourself to a nice break on board
Instead of the annual winter meeting, the Freundeskreis Klassische Yachten (Circle of Friends of Classic Yachts) invites you to a contribution on maritime book classics starting next Saturday

This year's winter meeting of the Circle of Friends of Classic Yachts will once again take place without a face-to-face event. Instead, a 90-minute online programme will be shown on YouTube. The motto is: "When the woodworm becomes a bookworm." Representatives of the classics scene will present their favourites from the world of maritime literature.

Recommendations from Oliver Berking, keeper of the Christmann collection at the Yachting Heritage Centre Flensburg, from Freundeskreis spokesman Wilfried Horns, Tommy Loewe from Toplicht, author Marc Bielefeld and many others. YACHT classic is also represented with book tips and pictures by Nico Krauss.

The YouTube link to the programme will be available from Saturday, 5 February on www.fky.org. The programme can then also be watched later. A trailer for the programme can already be seen here.
