Since the outbreak of the pandemic, the Hochseesegler-Verein has been organising entertaining Zoom seminars on topics relating to blue water sailing on Wednesday evenings. This Wednesday, 2 March, however, the focus is on a sporty Atlantic adventure.
Guests at the virtual meeting will be the young Mini-Transat sailors Lina Rixgens, Lennart Burke and Melwin Fink, who all competed in the last solo race of 2021 under the TO banner. In conversation with other experienced 'miniists', they talk about their campaigns and the highs and lows of the single-handed regatta.
Wolfgang Quix, Andreas Deubel and Morten Bogacki, who have all crossed the Atlantic in the Mini 6.50 and know how close the joys and sorrows are, will also be there.
The ZOOM room will be open from 18:30, the moderated meeting will start at 19:00. Not only TO members can take part. Anyone, including interested non-members, can register by sending an email to seminar@trans-ocean.org.
