33 owners rang in the big-ship sailing season off Portofino. Twelve maxi yachts were also entered, but only nine of them made it into the ranking. This was won by the Mylus 76 "Twin Soul B" with professional tactician Tommaso Chieffi. The largest yacht in the field, the 100-foot Nauta 100 "Morgana" with professional tactician Torben Grael, only achieved sixth place in its category.
Even if the event is not necessarily a highlight in the international regatta calendar, the pictures by photographer Carlo Borlenghi can certainly be placed in this category. Just see for yourself ...
