German Classics 2022: Summit meeting of the classics
It is the oldest and largest German classic car event of its kind: on the third weekend in August, the Friends of Classic Yachts the crews of traditionally built sailing yachts, but also all interested ship lovers, to the rendezvous on Kiel's outer fjord. After two events in 2020 and 2021 characterised by the coronavirus pandemic, this year's event will take place on the 33rd German Classics to close again as usual.
The three-day programme In addition to various races, the event also includes numerous performances on land that are well worth a visit. These traditionally include Live music of various genres a colourful culinary offering and a picture show of the regattas. Fans of traditional boatbuilding will be keen to see who will be crowned this year with the Restoration prize will be honoured.
