Difficult conditions again in Japan, but the German crews all coped well today, two even brilliantly

Actually, these were "not chocolate conditions", as our local reporter Tati Pokorny said in the early morning German time. The starts were postponed several times. Nevertheless, things got off to a good start for the DSV team.

Erik Heil and Thomas Plößel in the 49er started with a2nd place into the day, better than the favourites Peter Burling and Blair Tuke from New Zealand. Unfortunately, a 14th followed, which they cannot cancel. Current:Rank 5
