The World Wide Web has long since become an indispensable source of information - also for sailors. To mark its 100th anniversary, YACHT is now publishing a special issue with the 100 most important Internet sites containing indispensable maritime information.
The guide is divided into a total of seven subject areas: Buying a boat, travelling & sailing areas, seamanship, yacht technology & equipment, sea weather, maritime internet shops and regattas. Each section begins with a brief introduction to the topic, in which the reader is informed about special features and given useful general tips. The websites presented are explained and rated. In addition, each website is illustrated with a photo so that the reader can get a first visual impression. The editorial team has done pioneering work in this scope and in such an editorial presentation. The YACHT-Web-Guide is a valuable aid for sailors who want to navigate the Internet in a targeted manner in the future.
