Correction to the Furler test
In YACHT 21/17 we printed a test of top-down furlers as part of the sailing special. Mistakes were made in the process

For the most part, these only have a minor effect on the points awarded, but nevertheless result in a slightly different ranking. In fact, the Profurl system does not cost 4600 euros as printed, but only 2452 euros. The points for the operating instructions aspect were missing for this system, as were 5 points for the initial installation and one for the instructions for Seldén. In the new ranking, the Profurl system scored a total of 74 points and is on a par with the Bartels product, which also takes the title of price-performance winner. There is therefore no second place. Seldén came a close third with 71 points, with Karver also equal on points. The evaluation of the Harken price is not consistent, the system can be classified as favourable. And in the running text we emphasise the advantages of the separation of sail and cable. Bamar, Bartels and Profurl have this feature, not Facnor. We apologise for this.
