The fate of the Snekke "Havhesten", built in Norway in 1939, seemed sealed. Exported to Port Townsend 30 years ago, the boat sank during a classic regatta. However, the local wooden boat community managed to salvage the boat from the deepest depths and rebuilt and even rebuilt it once.

Born in Kiel, grew up on the water and on board, trained as a sailor in the club and sailing on the North and Baltic Seas.
