The super-flexible do-it-yourself bathing ladder
A rope ladder that can also be used as a mobile swimming ladder can be built from plastic pipes and cordage in no time at all

We wanted an inexpensive bathing ladder for our small cruiser. We sawed the steps of the ladder from polypropylene waste water pipes with a diameter of 50 millimetres. We threaded ropes with a diameter of 10 millimetres through holes on both sides. The steps can be secured with figure-eight knots above and below the hole. The loop at the top end is placed over the winch. There is an aluminium tube in the bottom rung so that the ladder sinks.
