The winch between the car and trailer makes slipping easier
Slip more comfortably without getting your feet wet? With the winch on the trailer coupling, you can do it on your own

To avoid awkward manoeuvres on slippery slipways with the car, we have made a special cable winch. This is screwed onto a steel profile, to which a coupling bell is attached at the front and a ball head at the rear. There is also a guide for the winch strap. Before launching our little Hurley into the water, this special winch is tensioned between the towing vehicle and the boat trailer, then it goes down the ramp backwards far enough so that the winch can still be operated with dry feet.

As soon as the belt is hooked onto the trailer, it is uncoupled. It can now be rolled further down the slipway into the water by slowly unwinding the cable winch. As soon as the boat floats and is moored, the trailer is winched out of the water and reattached to the special construction.

Back on level ground, the intermediate piece is uncoupled, disappears back into the boot and the trailer is attached directly to the car. The parts are available in vehicle accessory shops and online.
