Home port Kappeln

The new building, now christened "Lütt Gorch Fock", was also put out to tender after the keel was laid in March and schools were able to apply for the boat with a base concept. Headmistress Wiebke Christiansen-Hansen wants to use the open keelboat, which has been specially designed for training, together with the community school, the Klaus Harms School and the Arniss Sailing Club utilise.

First outing at the Schüler Cup

After the ceremonial handover of the boat during the christening, the shipyard team from Henningsen & Steckmest will now transfer the "Lütt Gorch Fock" to Kiel, where it will take part in the Pupils' Cup next Wednesday.
