Grand Soleil Cup 2026: Porto Cervo becomes the stage for Cantiere del Pardo

Cantiere del Pardo opens registration for the Grand Soleil Cup 2026, which will take place from 21 to 23 May 2026 in Porto Cervo and will once again be held at the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda.

The Grand Soleil fleet is thus returning to one of the most famous sailing destinations in the Mediterranean. For decades, Porto Cervo has been synonymous with regatta sport, international yacht owners and a maritime backdrop that combines sporting ambition with great appeal.

Grand Soleil Cup as the sporting centre of the Cantiere del Pardo Week

The Grand Soleil Cup remains the sporting centrepiece of the event. The regatta is aimed at owners of Grand Soleil yachts and is designed to combine competition, fleet experience and socialising.

At the same time, the event will be embedded in a larger format. The Cantiere del Pardo Week will take place from 20 to 23 May 2026. It expands the Grand Soleil Cup with a cross-brand programme that brings together all three brands of the group: Grand Soleil Yachts, Pardo Yachts and VanDutch Yachts.

The shipyard is thus pursuing a clear approach. A pure regatta will become an owner and brand event that aims to bring sailing and motorboat customers closer together.

Porto Cervo as a symbolic place

For Cantiere del Pardo, the choice of Porto Cervo is more than just a question of scenery. The Yacht Club Costa Smeralda is one of the most prestigious addresses in international sailing. The area offers challenging courses, changing conditions and a landscape that has been closely associated with major regattas for decades.

For the Grand Soleil Cup, this framework fits the positioning of the brand. The event should be taken seriously in sporting terms, but also strengthen the owners' community. Following the well-received 2024 edition, Cantiere del Pardo is now once again choosing Porto Cervo as the stage.

Pardo and VanDutch become part of the programme

Cantiere del Pardo Week will also involve the Group's motorboat brands. Pardo Yachts and VanDutch Yachts will be represented with several models, which will also be available for test drives.

This shows how strongly the shipyard now sees its brands as a joint portfolio. Grand Soleil stands for sailing yachts, Pardo for modern motor yachts and VanDutch for the exclusive luxury segment. In Porto Cervo, these worlds will not appear separately, but as part of a common Cantiere del Pardo identity.

Preview of new Grand Soleil models

A special programme item is aimed at owners: they will be able to see and test new sailing yacht models from Grand Soleil in advance. The official presentations of these models are planned for the autumn boat show season.

For Cantiere del Pardo, this is an important component of the event. The shipyard combines product premieres not only with trade fair stands, but also with experience on the water. This gives owners the opportunity to familiarise themselves with new models in a real environment.
