This summer was different due to coronavirus. Many owner and charter crews spent the best weeks of the year at home rather than in faraway places. Some of them rediscovered them.
After presenting the Kiel and Flensburg Fjords, the Schlei and Wannsee in previous issues, this time the cruise takes us to the east of the coast of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Where the Greifswalder Bodden ends and Usedom begins - for many the most beautiful German island.
Along the coast facing the mainland, the cruise leads across the Peene River through the Achterwasser to the Szczecin Lagoon. We take turns presenting the most beautiful harbours and anchorages along both shores, telling you about places steeped in history and people who have found happiness here.
