The Schlei: a perfect microcosm
North of Eckernförde, the Schlei cuts into the land. The area is a great destination - and not just when it gets rough on the Baltic Sea. Download the portrait in PDF format

The season is getting off to a late start in the Corona year, but things have really got going since the beginning of June: the marinas are already quite full, the charter fleets are swarming out again, and it is foreseeable that many crews will stay on the German coast this year due to the current situation or only sail across the Danish border for a few detours.

Local sailing areas are very popular, so we present the Schlei as a sailing area in detail and go sailing with locals, who provide valuable tips for anchorages, the best stops or restaurants and pubs. Anyone who takes the time to visit the Schlei will be surprised at how varied the area is. You can easily spend a week here without getting bored.

The Schlei portrait in the Baltic Sea Special was published in YACHT No. 13/2020. The magazine is available in the DK-Shop, or you can download the article directly via the link below.
