The YACHT editors' favourite areas. Plus the latest harbour news from the German Baltic coast. And: The best excursions for shore leave in Denmark

Even die-hard Baltic Sea sailors rarely know all the harbours and bays between Flensburg and Usedom. Neither do the yacht editors, many of whom are travelling on their own keel along the coasts of eastern Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. However, as they are at home on different stretches of coast, together they know their home waters inside out.

In the current issue, they pass on their knowledge: they reveal their favourite destinations and tell us what fascinates them about each place. You will know a few of the harbours, towns and bays described. But certainly not all of them. So let yourself be surprised.

What few people know so far: What has happened in the harbours along the German Baltic Sea coast during the winter months. We travelled around, spoke to harbour masters and operators, took photos and wrote down the most important information for sailors. You can now read about it in the new issue of YACHT (11/2022).

All those who regularly travel to Denmark will also discover one or two new things in the magazine. In particular, anyone looking for tips for a trip ashore will find what they are looking for: We have put together the best excursion tips not just for rainy or stormy days.

YACHT 11/2022 is now available in magazine shops and as a digital edition, as well as can be ordered directly as a single issue here.
