The new jetty with Trimax surface.
At the Kreusch water sports and leisure centre, sustainable and maintenance-free jetty decking made from recycled, single-origin plastic from TEPRO Kunststoff-Recycling GmbH & Co. KG, based in Bad Bodenteich in Lower Saxony (Made in Germany).
The deteriorating wooden decking of the floating docks had to be replaced in the marina of the Kreusch water sports and leisure centre on the Moselle. The replacement of the decking was realised in 2021 by Alu-Bau GmbH, based in Büdelsdorf, Schleswig-Holstein.
Even during the planning phase, it was clear to everyone involved that sustainability and the green concept should play a decisive role in this project. The decision was made to use TRIMAX® profiles, which are approved by the building authorities, as the decking for the jetty with 150 berths for boats up to 20 metres. These were used as decking in the format 3 x 30 cm in the colour light brown.
