The Azores comprise a total of nine islands, and each one is completely different from the others. From the flower island of Flores in the west to Faial with the sailing stronghold of Horta and the island of São Miguel, which offers wonderful hiking trails and spectacular views. A diversity that no archipelago in the world can match, with a flair that until recently was only experienced by long-distance travellers stopping off on their way back from the Caribbean. Today, the Azores are also a popular and easily accessible charter destination, but without being overcrowded or overdeveloped.

Former YACHT editor Johannes Erdmann has visited the islands three times during Atlantic crossings to Europe and takes you on board on a journey through almost all the islands from west to east.

Questions for our Speakers can be asked in the chat.

NOTE If you are unable to attend the webinar, you can also register as a "absent" participant the recording of the webinar (but limited to four weeks).
