Whether you're a charterer or owner: if you don't always want to be travelling in the Baltic Sea or the Mediterranean, you should have some basic knowledge of the tides. You don't have to calculate to the last centimetre! If you keep an overview and understand the correlations, you can sail comfortably, quickly and safely by making simple rough calculations - without getting bogged down in numbers and calculations.
A tide template developed by our speaker and author Leon Schulz helps you to calculate step by step not only for reference locations, but also for connection locations by simply inserting data. Precise tide calculation is particularly important for anchor manoeuvres so that the anchor holds overnight and you are not woken up by a grounding!
The webinar is suitable for beginners as well as experienced tidal sailors. Thanks to a few tips and tricks, tidal areas can be travelled confidently, easily and calmly.
