The countdown is on for Hiswa te Water, the largest inwater trade fair in north-west Europe, in the Bataviahaven in Lelystad on the Dutch Markermeer. The fair opens at 10.00 am on Wednesday 3 September. More than 30,000 visitors are expected during the five days of the fair until next Sunday 7 September.

In just a few years, Hiswa te Water has developed into an international meeting place for water sports enthusiasts. From Wednesday to Sunday, numerous manufacturers will present their products on an exhibition area of no less than 50,000 square metres. More than 400 boats will be on display in the Bataviahaven.

Of course, there will also be many new sailing boats and yachts on display. In particular, numerous current catamarans will be moored at the pontoons. After the trade fair in Lelystad had to be cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, the trade fair management was already able to set new records for participants and visitors in 2022. This year's figures are likely to be exceeded once again. The organisers are expecting more than 30,000 visitors to the trade fair in Lelystad.
