Many halls, countless stands - a visit to a trade fair can quickly become confusing. When it comes to equipment, there are some innovations that only trade visitors have been able to see so far. We have put together some highlights with stand numbers to make them easier to find.
With more buoyancy, a smaller pack size and a special lifebelt, the Hi-Lift 150N from TeamO has already won over the DAME jury. The lifejacket apparently works with additional buoyancy at the back, which lifts the upper body out of the water better and should ensure a stable swimming position with more freeboard. According to the jury, which includes German designer Klaus Roeder, this increase in performance means that the 150 Newton lifejacket even promises to surpass the ISO standard for a lifejacket with 275 Newtons of buoyancy. According to the experts, the redistribution of the volume of the buoyancy bladder makes the lifejacket slimmer overall, which increases user acceptance and makes the waistcoat easier to put on. The waistcoat is also equipped with TeamO's Backtow system, a recovery aid that also allows the MOB to be towed in the supine position.
The Hi-Lift from TeamO will be exhibited at the Sailtec GmbH stand in Hall 10 Stand H56.

French fittings specialist Karver presents the KJS12, a very compact halyard stopper with enormous holding forces. Made from stainless steel and aluminium, the clamp is designed for rope diameters of up to 12 millimetres and is designed to hold up to 1.2 tonnes. The breaking load is two tonnes. These high values are achieved by two keel-shaped jaws that press further and further onto the line under load. The construction is designed for low rope wear and easy maintenance. The entire inner workings can be pulled out of the housing after loosening two screws without having to remove it from the deck. The clamp is operated via a pull loop, so it can easily be fitted with a remote release. However, the halyard must be winched on before the clamp can be opened. The price is 196 euros.
Karver's products will be exhibited at the Kohlhoff GmbH stand in Hall 10 Stand F39.

Ocean Signal manufactures two new MOB transmitters for integration into the lifejacket. The Rescue- Me MOB2 alerts via AIS and DSC distress call and has been expanded to include a new function: as soon as a confirmation of receipt of the distress call is received, it is no longer transmitted. With the Pro Racing Jacket, Slam has a particularly lightweight and high-performance oilskin in its programme. The manufacturer sees the target group as regatta sailors in inland and coastal areas. With a water column of 30,000 millimetres and a breathability of 8,000 grams per square metre in 24 hours, the jacket is designed to be particularly waterproof and ensure a good climate during high levels of activity. The three-layer fabric with Dermizax membrane is designed to ensure this.
The jacket is particularly lightweight with plenty of freedom of movement. Adjustable PU-coated cuffs, a high collar (measured according to the inshore and coastal categorisation) and an adjustable hood keep moisture out.
The Pro Racing Long John is the perfect match. The trousers are closed up to the chest and are also made from the three-layer nylon laminate. Adjustment options at the hips and trouser legs ensure a good fit. Fabric reinforcements on the seat, knees and hem minimise wear.
The jacket and trousers are available in the colour Black Ink in sizes from XS to XXL. The Pro Racing Jacket costs 500 euros, the Pro Racing Long John 450 euros.
