The YACHT stand has moved from Hall 16 to Hall 10 for boot 2024. Together with our colleagues from the book publishing house and the editorial teams of BOOTE and BOOTE EXCLUSIV, you will find us again this year at stand G18 in hall 10. In addition to the opportunity to meet the editors and authors of our books and magazines, we will be presenting many exciting experts. We have also put together a comprehensive programme of presentations, which we will present to you here in detail.
We are also delighted to present Pip Hare on our stage on Sunday 19 January. The British single-handed sailor will be talking about her role in the Vendée Globe, among other things. Further information about Pip's visit to our stand can be found in our Announcement.
On the stage in the Sailing Centre, you can get up close and personal with many well-known sailors. Guests include Lennart Burke and Melwin Fink, Lina Rixgens and Sverre Reinke and Max Gurgel. With the influencers from Blue Horizon, Emily Penn and Daniel Roesner, some non-regatta sailors will also be taking part. They will talk about their long-distance and environmental projects or their adventure trips. Further details can be found on the website of the boat.
In the "Refit Centre" at boot, renowned experts will teach you how to fix some technical problems on your boat yourself. In addition, exciting refit projects and the latest trends on the scene will be discussed. You will also learn, for example, what to do in the event of diesel plague and diesel ageing, what you should look out for when buying or selling a used boat and how you can repair your sail with on-board equipment. It's well worth a visit!

The "Blue Innovation Dock" is organised by boot in cooperation with the European Boating Industry (EBI). It serves as a dialogue platform with political, scientific, technological and media expertise. Guests on the stage will include Luca Bassani, founder of Wally, and yachtswoman Emily Penn. A number of other researchers, experts and politicians will also be present to talk about making sailing and the future of the boating industry more environmentally friendly.

Under the supervision of sailing instructors from Unterbacher See, youngsters in particular can try out the pool to see if sailing is a new hobby for them. There are several wind generators along the pool to provide propulsion.
There are also various demonstrations in the pool - from simple knot tying and air rescue to live demonstrations of what to do in the event of a water ingress. There's something for everyone! You can find the detailed programme here.
A private maritime auction is being held for the 12th time as part of the Classic Forum. Among other things, the Venice taxi, built in 1981, will come under the auction hammer. The auction will take place on Saturday, 25 January, from 11 am. The "Bounty Bay" will also be auctioned off. Burghard Pieske sailed Captain Bligh's voyage after the mutiny on the "Bounty" with the open lifeboat in 1998. Further information
