The 2014 water sports season at Lake Chiemsee begins on the first weekend of Advent 2013, when the Yachtcentrum Bernau with the companies Yachten Meltl (distributor of Bavaria Yachtbau) and Hanse Vertriebs GmbH with the brands Hanse, Dehler and Varianta invites all interested parties to the tenth edition of the Bernau Boatshow from Friday, 29 November to Sunday, 1 December.
In the exhibition halls of Yachts Meltl visitors will find the fleet of the currently completely revised Bavaria Cruiser series. The current models 33, 37, 41, 46 (test in the next issue of Yacht No. 25-26/2013) and Cruiser 56 will be on display. The Cruiser 51, the successor to the Cruiser 50, will only celebrate its premiere at the boot trade fair in Düsseldorf and can therefore not yet be shown in Bernau. In addition to the Cruiser programme, Bavaria will also be presenting the Vision 42 on Lake Chiemsee.
The 10th anniversary of the Boatshow Bernau also fits in with the presentation of the Hanse Vertriebs GmbH (HVG). The company is also celebrating its 10th birthday. However, HVG has only had a branch in Bernau with a permanent exhibition in its halls since this year. The Hanse models 345, 385, 415, 445 and 575 will be presented to visitors at the Boatshow Bernau. The Dehler 29 and the Dehler 38 will also be on display. Another highlight will undoubtedly be the new Varianta 37 (test in YACHT 23/2013), which celebrated its premiere at the Hanseboot in Hamburg just a few weeks ago.
These will be joined by numerous other exhibitors who, like every year, come to Lake Chiemsee for one of the largest in-house exhibitions in Germany. Representatives from the fields of yacht electronics, yacht financing and yacht insurance will be presenting a complete and comprehensive range of products. Sailmakers and well-known representatives of sailing clothing, accessories, charter companies and transport companies will also be on site. They will be presenting their latest innovations and products in Bernau.
The Bernau water rescue service will cater for the physical well-being of the guests. Samples of Austrian wines from Lake Neusiedl will also be on offer. The Boatshow Bernau 2013 is open on Friday, 29 November and Saturday, 30 November from 10 am to 6 pm. On Sunday, visitors have access from 10 am to 3 pm.
