The organisers are expecting hundreds of thousands of visitors to the 56th boot Düsseldorf. Due to the tense economic situation, however, some exhibitors will be absent. Why a visit could still be worthwhile for you.

boot 2025, the world's largest water sports trade fair, has long been on the calendars of many water sports fans. From 18 to 26 January, Düsseldorf will once again be the venue for sailors, surfers, motorboaters and divers.

Around 1,500 exhibitors await visitors. 16 exhibition halls with around 220,000 square metres will become the global stage for water sports. A good 214,000 visitors from more than 100 countries came to boot in 2024.

There is a lot for visitors to experience - but above all to see, even though Bavaria, the largest German series shipyard, will be missing and Hanse will not be exhibiting any sailing yachts. Petros Michelidakis, the director of boot, is nevertheless positive: "The music is playing in Düsseldorf!" If you want to experience the diversity of water sports, this is the place to be.

Foiling World celebrates its premiere

Foiling World is celebrating its premiere this year in Hall 15, where visitors to the Foiling Organisation stand E21 will be able to climb into one of the simulators used by the respective teams to prepare for the Women's and Junior America's Cup - the highlight of Sailing Hall 15, according to Michelidakis.
