The core element of the lifejackets is a new buoyancy chamber, which is designed to turn people in the water even better. The practical click fastener and the integrated lifebelt have been retained. A crotch strap and spray cap are also standard. The design has been ergonomically optimised. In particular, the lifejacket is cut short and pre-shaped in the shoulder area so that the neck remains completely free and unencumbered. Additional padding on the waist belt and in the back area is also designed to make it more comfortable to wear.
The series consists of three models, the Survival 220, which corresponds to the 150 Newton standard but provides more buoyancy, the Survival 275 and the Survival 275 Duo Protect with a robust, two-layer buoyancy chamber. All Survival lifejackets are equipped with the in-house Secumatic-4001S automatic release system. This means that the waistcoat's operational readiness can be recognised at a glance.
For more active safety, the new float has a pocket for integrating the AIS transmitter as standard A040-BW-COM from Weatherdock. However, it is also possible to purchase an additional bag for the marine transmitters from Crewfetch or the models SafeLink R10 from Kannad and PLB1 from Ocean Signal.
The Survival 220 costs just under 300 euros, while the two 275 Newton models are available for 340 euros and 370 euros respectively.
