The animated sail trim app is now available under the name "Sailtrim Upwind One". The programme explains to the user in a playful way what happens when you operate the various trim elements on a sailing boat.
The user can select their desired sail (mainsail or genoa) and is given a selection of different trim functions, which can be virtually tightened or furled using sliders. At the same time, the user can see how the sails deform and for which wind and wave conditions the settings are suitable. The entire rig can be rotated along the vertical axis with two fingers to see and understand the changes to the profiles from any angle.
The app is aimed at all sailors - beginners as well as advanced sailors. The very clearly designed application is also particularly suitable for sailing schools and sailing students.
Sailtrim Upwind One is available in Google Play Store for applications on the Android operating system. The app is available for use in Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Download from website available for 6.54 euros.
