Naturally orange: the new Dutch Diesel three-cylinder engine with 22 hp
Of course, if it's called Dutch Diesel, then the colour has to match. But the engines also have a lot else to offer

Based on blocks from Kioti in Korea, one of the largest manufacturers of diesel engines in the world, Dutch Diesel marinises the engines itself in Balk, Friesland. Great emphasis is placed on durability: The smaller of the two engines on offer produces 22 hp from a displacement of just over one litre. The three-cylinder engine does not rev above 2800 rpm. The bigger brother with 45 hp gets this from a full 2.2 litres of displacement.

The engines have large fine fuel filters on the engine. The fuel pump is easily accessible on the side. As with many engines, the water pump is somewhat hidden. This means that the impeller can only be changed from the rear. Instead, there is an air filter to be cleaned and an equalising tank for the cooling water of the inner circuit as standard. This is also the engine panel without rev counter, which is available for an extra charge. The engines can also be supplied with a Saildrive on request; a gearbox is standard.

The small engine with gearbox, engine panel, all connections and wiring harness costs 7400 euros, while the large engine, equally equipped, costs 11,300 euros.
