Hand on heart: Most seacocks, especially the more inaccessible ones, lead a shadowy existence. Regular opening and closing? Not a chance. How convenient it would be if the process could be carried out at the touch of a button. Forespar thought so too and has developed a drive for the familiar Marelon valves. The desired position can be controlled at the push of a button and an LED provides information about the status. If the power fails, the valve can be closed manually at any time.
The actuators are available for sizes 1/2" to 2", the price is identical for all sizes: 428.40 euros without valve. This must be purchased separately; it is not possible to convert existing Marelon valves. You can find more information about the "Series 93 here.
Competitors too Trudesign offers electrically operated valves. Their version has three ways and costs 577 euros including the control panel.
