If you don't want to permanently install a solar system on board, you at least have to integrate the controller into the system. This is now easier

Mobile solar modules are a clever solution if you want to use the sun at your mooring or charge your batteries in winter. But how do you feed in the power? Sunware has now put together a simple solution, the charge controller for the cigarette lighter. The Fox 062 automatically recognises the on-board voltage and can be supplied with up to 100 watts of solar power at 12 volts, or 200 watts at 24 volts.

Important: The socket on the boat side should be sufficiently wired for a charging current of 6 amps. The battery type is set on the controller using a switch, LEDs provide information on the charge status. The price: 69 euros.
