There is so much behind our favourite word, sailing! Adventure, freedom, experiencing nature, vastness, discoveries, tranquillity, encounters with other people, countries and sailing areas or even the indispensable technology.
We cannot emphasise this often enough: Sailing is pure diversity, and YACHT meets this great variance every fortnight with reports, features, service topics, tests, portraits and interviews. The sport, the hobby, the passion cover a huge spectrum, from cruising to regatta sailing, from daysailing to long-distance sailing, from co-sailing to single-handed cruising.
And this has been reflected in every issue of YACHT for 120 years now. Sailing is a broad spectrum, and this is especially true for the boats, without which the whole thing would not be possible. As a full-range supplier, we love them all.
To make it into the magazine, they only have to fulfil certain requirements: We present new yachts and dinghies, sometimes several times during important phases of their development, test them individually later and, if possible, in comparison and again when they are on the market as used boats. We portray special boats, take them out for a cruise and take you, the reader, on board with us.
In this issue alone, there is talk of 13 different yachts, sometimes presented on a larger scale, sometimes on a smaller scale. The range extends from the 50-year-old dinghy cruiser Fam to the promising new sports boat Junda KII and the used Beneteau Evasion 36. Let's enjoy this colourful variety!
Enjoy this issue!
