With the Ventures, Vallon presents water sports sunglasses that combine classic aesthetics with lightweight performance. The rubber coating on the nose pads ensures a secure grip during intensive outdoor activities such as sailing, motor boating or e-foiling. Sport hinges increase the durability of the frame. The Ventures is aimed at water sports enthusiasts who value sustainable materials and low weight. The model is available in several colour variants, including sage green and tortoiseshell.
The Ventures uses Vallon's V52 polyamide lenses with an ABBE value of 52, which describes the optical clarity of the lenses. The polarised lenses filter stray light and reduce glare, especially on water surfaces. They block 100 per cent of UV radiation up to a wavelength of 400 nanometres. According to the manufacturer, the nylon-polyamide material is 20 per cent lighter than comparable lens materials. The lenses are available in different tints: Smoke grey, orange, brown or green. All variants belong to category 3 with a light transmission of between nine and 16 per cent.
The Bio-TR90 frame combines the mechanical properties of nylon with sustainable raw materials. The material is flexible and unbreakable, making the goggles suitable for all outdoor activities. The rubber nose pads mould to the shape of the face and prevent slippage during movement. The sports hinges are designed for frequent opening and closing. The frame is available in six colour combinations.
Vallon Ventures costs around 100 euros, depending on the sales channel.
