Personal equipment: Lifejacket professional Spinlock now also has sail bags

On the way to sailing training or when preparing for a cruise, you usually pack more things than you initially thought. It's good if the bag offers the necessary space. Spinlock, better known from our tests with life jackets and halyard stoppers, now has four exciting new pieces of luggage in its range. The range includes two rucksacks and two travel bags in different sizes. All items in the range are available in the colour Pacific Blue.
Venture travelling bag 100L
The largest bag in the series is the Venture duffel bag with a capacity of 100 litres. The duffel bag has a large opening on the top and an additional small outer pocket. The lightweight and hard-wearing nylon ripstop fabric is water-repellent. This means that the items in the bag do not soak through immediately if it is placed on a wet surface. However, the Venture travel bag is not waterproof. Various carrying straps and handles make it easy to transport. With shoulder straps, the bag can also be shouldered like a large rucksack. The Venture travel bag 100L measures 750 x 350 x 380 millimetres and costs 139 euros.
Venture travel bag 55L
The smaller Duffel Bag from Spinlock holds about half the capacity of the large travel bag and can almost be categorised as a rucksack with shoulder straps. The same hard-wearing and water-repellent fabric is used. Inside, a mesh insert helps to organise different items of equipment. Measuring 550 x 350 x 250 millimetres, the Venture 55L travel bag complies with the regulations for hand luggage on planes. Price: 129 euros.
Venture backpack 27L
The smaller backpack in the Spinlock bag series is the all-rounder with sturdy nylon ripstop fabric, comfortable and breathable padding on the back and a laptop compartment. Mesh pockets and fastening straps on the outside offer additional space for a water bottle or wet clothes on the way back from sailing training. The size: 460 x 300 x 150 millimetres. The price: 89 euros.
Venture Roll-Top Backpack 35L
The rucksack with roll closure plays a special role in the bag series as it is completely waterproof. This is achieved with a different material, which the manufacturer only claims is PVC-free. The opening on the top is sealed by a sealing lip and multiple rolling. This keeps everything in the rucksack completely dry. On the outside there is a small pocket with a zip, a mesh pocket for drinking bottles and an adjustable rubber band holder for wet clothing. The rucksack measures 450 x 180 x 300 millimetres and costs 85 euros.
