With the Pro Racing Jacket, Slam has a particularly lightweight and high-performance oilskin in its programme. The manufacturer sees the target group as regatta sailors in inland and coastal areas. With a water column of 30,000 millimetres and a breathability of 8,000 grams per square metre in 24 hours, the jacket is designed to be particularly waterproof and ensure a good climate during high levels of activity. The three-layer fabric with Dermizax membrane is designed to ensure this.
The jacket is particularly lightweight with plenty of freedom of movement. Adjustable PU-coated cuffs, a high collar (measured according to the inshore and coastal categorisation) and an adjustable hood keep moisture out.
The Pro Racing Long John is the perfect match. The trousers are closed up to the chest and are also made from the three-layer nylon laminate. Adjustment options at the hips and trouser legs ensure a good fit. Fabric reinforcements on the seat, knees and hem minimise wear.
The jacket and trousers are available in the colour Black Ink in sizes from XS to XXL. The Pro Racing Jacket costs 500 euros, the Pro Racing Long John 450 euros.
The Pro Racing Smock Top is even more sporty and also exciting for dinghy sailors. With PU-coated waterproof cuffs on the arms, neck and hips, it keeps you reliably dry and offers even more freedom of movement than a conventional jacket. The Spray Top is also only available in the colour Black Ink in sizes XXS to XXL for 350 euros.
Slam offers the Active Grid Fleece under oilskins for optimum moisture and heat regulation. The thin fleece jacket with front zip and grid pattern can absorb a lot of moisture, keeping the body warm and dry during high levels of activity. The manufacturer recommends it as a mid-layer. Thanks to four-way stretch, it is said to offer a very good fit with great freedom of movement. Flat seams also ensure excellent comfort.
The Active Grid Fleece is available in five different colours in sizes XS to XXL and costs 150 euros.
