In the cold season, it's not just the thickness of your clothing that counts, but the right combination of layers. The base layer overview in PDF download

Especially in spring, the first trips can still be quite uncomfortable. And if it's not only raining all day, but also cold, you need to make sure you have the right clothing under your waterproof bad weather clothing. It's not just about wrapping up warm, it's about having a comfortable climate in every situation. This is because active and resting phases alternate again and again, especially when sailing. If the manoeuvre is strenuous, you sweat, and afterwards, when the physical exertion is over, there is a risk of shivering if the clothing does not ensure that moisture is transported away from the skin.

The most important prerequisite for this is the right choice of thermal underwear. We have taken a look at the range of equipment suppliers and explain what to look out for when making your choice.

Redakteur Test & Technik
