Clever upgrade for the galley: a cast-iron grill plate with two grilling surfaces makes the compact Skotti even more versatile. And the new glass lid for the Omnia oven enables visual inspection without heat loss.

The Skotti grill also scored highly in the YACHT test. It can be folded up to save space and performs well when set up. Gas is used as the energy source, making it suitable for barbecuing in the cockpit or on the bathing platform. The manufacturer now offers a cast-iron grill plate with the Kast. The solid iron is said to distribute the heat better than a conventional grill. The plate also has two sides: One is ribbed and the other is smooth. Kast is said to be particularly suitable for meat, fish and vegetables. Price: 49 euros. More information: Skotti-grill.eu

The Omnia is on board many small boats. Baking bread rolls or cakes when there is no oven on board is no problem with the cake-shaped oven. With the Roadtop, Roadbaker now offers a matching lid with a porthole-shaped glass insert. In contrast to the original tin lid, no energy is lost here when the cooking progress needs to be monitored. The transparent glass disc allows you to check the progress without having to lift the lid. Price: 50 euros. More information: Roadbaker.com
