Marine hardware specialist Sprenger has launched its own range of care products for yachts. The series comprises seven products. A special feature of three of the cleaners are practical spray attachments for easier application.
Sprenger's previous product range included cleaners and polishes from International. With its own new series, the company is expanding its range and offering specialised solutions for various care areas on board. The products cover underwater care as well as the cleaning and protection of the hull and superstructure. According to the manufacturer, the products have been specifically tailored to the requirements of boat owners.
Spray attachments for large-area application
Three of the cleaners are equipped with spray attachments: the Antigilb, the mussel and algae cleaner for underwater areas and the rain streak remover. The spray head is designed to make it easier to apply to large areas such as the hull. It only needs to be sprayed on and not spread with a cloth or sponge. All other products in the range have quick-release caps for metered application.
The GRP cleaner has been specially developed for gelcoat surfaces. It is designed to remove stubborn dirt without attacking the material. The water pass cleaner is used to clean the transition area between the water and air sides, where particularly stubborn dirt accumulates.
Polishes and sealants
In addition to the cleaners, Sprenger offers various polishes. The One Step Marine combination product combines polish and sealant in one step. It is the only product in the range available in two sizes: 500 and 1,000 millilitres. The hard wax forms a long-lasting protective layer on treated surfaces.
All care products are available in 500 millilitre containers. The products can be purchased individually or as a set. Prices are not yet available. The range will soon be available from specialist retailers.
