Flying above the water has so far been reserved for a marginalised group of sailors, especially when it comes to monohulls. The corresponding companions, such as the pioneer International Moth or its toned-down derivative Waszp, are very delicate sailing devices rather than boats. This summer, however, two new dinghies have come onto the market that could revolutionise monohull foiling. Both concepts are based on the same approach, but the realisation could not be more different.
