In an interview with YACHT, designer Günter Ahlers explains how the idea for the Teeny came about and reports on the rapid development of the junior class
Not every child likes to be alone. And so the two-man dinghy for sailors of Opti age was an instant success. Perhaps also because the Teeny is just as uncomplicated as the Optimist and can be easily transported on the car roof. With its spinnaker and trapeze, it has everything a two-man dinghy needs.
