One of the most important boats for next season is here. Test drive with the new mid-range model, which will celebrate its premiere in Düsseldorf

The C38 follows the already successful C42 (see test YACHT 16/2020) and is the second completely new ship in the revised upscale shipyard line. The design by Italian Maurizio Cossutti is visually unique due to its large width, the non-tapered stern, long chines, kinks and edges in the hull and superstructure as well as a projecting bow, and these measures also result in a very voluminous interior, in which even the identical aft cabins are spacious.

In the test, the boat impressed with its very pleasant, agile sailing characteristics, a well thought-out, flexible deck layout, many successful details and a modern and well-crafted interior. You can read the test in YACHT 1/2021 (available from newsagents on 16 December and by subscription on 12 December).
