Pointer 30: the little big one from Heeg
She is the largest vessel in the Jachtwerf Heeg portfolio. Nevertheless, 30 feet is almost small in today's market. An exciting and sporty enrichment

Small boats are tough business for shipyards. The costs of the moulds have to be spread over comparatively few ships. This is why small boats often feel rather expensive. The solution: build to a very high standard and position the boats accordingly on the market, then money can also be earned with small boats. This is what Saffier does, and Jachtwerf Heeg does the same - they laminate in the Netherlands and then finish the boats. This results in high-quality boats that can establish themselves on the market despite their high prices. This has already been achieved with the Pointer 25, and the 30 is the next logical step.

9.20 metres long and 2.90 metres wide - that's a stretched length-to-width ratio. A logical decision for a boat called Pointer. Space below deck was also not so important. Yes, you can spend the night there and lounge in the café bar with swivelling individual seats, but the highlight is the cockpit. There is room for eight people. The customer can choose between wheel and tiller. There is also a choice of draught: 1.25 and 1.75 metres are possible. The latter is recommended if you really want to cruise. However, a sail carrying capacity of 5.1 with a self-tacking jib is a sign of good sailing performance. In all likelihood, it will be a fast boat.

As already mentioned, there is space below deck for four people to sleep, a separate toilet room and the café lounge. A weekender doesn't need much more. The galley provides coffee and cold drinks, the rest comes from the restaurant or the pizza delivery service. According to the shipyard, emphasis was placed on a cosy ambience and indirect lighting. Construction number 1 will be ready for the next season. The price is expected to start at around 120,000 euros - the amounts for add-on parts and building materials are currently developing very dynamically, so that an exact calculation is not yet possible. jachtwerf-heeg.nl
