Jeanneau has transferred the innovative concept with walkaround cockpit to a smaller boat in the Sun Odyssey range. Marc Lombard's design impressed in the test (issue 2/2022) with good sailing performance and easy, single-handed handling. The boat can be ordered with fixed keels in two draught variants or alternatively with a hydraulically retractable swivelling keel. Two or three cabins are possible. Hull length 10.77 m; width 3.76 m; weight 6.9 tonnes; sail area 53.1 m².

The robust aluminium yachts in the Ovni range from Alubat are usually at the top of the wish list for blue water sailors. The new twelve-metre vessel, designed by Mortain & Mavrikios, comes with an integral canting keel and two rudder blades for falling dry. The YACHT test will follow in issue 6/22. Hull length 11.95 m; width 3.99 m; weight 9.4 tonnes; sail area 69.0 m².

The small, versatile entry-level boat from Dufour Yachts has now received a comprehensive update. With a multitude of innovative, progressive details and a strong overall package, the shipyard aims to appeal to a young clientele in particular. Hull length 9.36 m; width 3.31 m; weight 4.9 tonnes; sail area 52.0 m².

Hanseyachts is tackling the next generation of cruising yachts with a new design partner. The Hanse 460, designed by Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design, marks the start. Compared to the older boats in the series, the new model is one thing above all: significantly more voluminous. You can read the test in YACHT 1/2022. Hull length 13.87 m; width 4.79 m; weight 12.6 tonnes; sail area 85.9 square metres.

Following the takeover by the Grand Large Yachting group, RM Yachts in France is working on a newly developed flagship. The hull is made of plywood in a buckling frame, the deck is made of GRP. Hull length 13.30 m; width 4.53 m; weight 9.8 tonnes; sail area 110.0 square metres.

The exciting and very versatile touring concept is currently being realised by MFH in Emden. The design by Marc-Oliver von Ahlen is available with either a fixed keel or a lifting keel. Hull length 10.70 m; width 3.00 m; weight 3.7 t; sail area 51.0 square metres.
