New and different: the look of the Sunbeam 32.1 is polarising. Is this what the yacht of the future will look like?
YACHT test of the latest boat from the shipyard in Mattsee, Austria. Can the unusual concept fulfil the high expectations?

Sunbeam Yachts in Mattsee is undergoing a generational change in two respects. Firstly in terms of personnel: Andreas Schöchl, son of technical director Manfred, who has managed the company together with his cousin Gerhard since 1990, is now at the helm of the traditional Austrian shipyard. On the other hand, the newly appointed boss is celebrating his debut with a new 10-metre boat, which has already caused quite a stir with its announcement. The new Sunbeam 32.1 not only stands out visually, but also makes exciting conceptual compromises between daysailer, performance cruiser and cruising yacht. It is certainly a boat that you have to see to believe.

YACHT has already sailed the extremely exciting Sunbeam 32.1. You can now read the exclusive test report in the new YACHT, issue 17/2021, which is available in magazine shops now.
