The performance cruiser genre is looking for a happy medium between two worlds: Sport and comfort. The compromise is particularly appealing and currently more in demand than ever. YACHT invited six representatives of the eleven metre hull length class to a group comparison on the Flensburg Fjord. The Arcona 385 from Sweden, the Dehler 38 SQ from Germany, the Faurby 370 from Denmark, the First 36 from Beneteau in France, the American J 112 E, which is also built in France, and last but not least the X 4.0 from Denmark took up the sporting challenge.
In the second part of the big comparison test in the new YACHT 15/2022, the six yachts have to literally show what they are made of. This issue is less about sport and more about comfort on board, living space below deck, functionality and storage space. And, of course, the YACHT test editors have also kept an eye on the quality of the interior fittings.
The second part of the major YACHT comparison test is now available in the latest issue of YACHT, issue 15/2022.
