Anyone who has always wanted to go on a trip to the most exotic and beautiful sailing areas or simply wants to try out whether sailing around the world is for them can do so in 2020/21 on board a Bavaria Cruiser 51 as part of the World ARC. The German fleet operator Mola, together with the training experts from Sailpartner, will then be sending a German yacht around the world for the first time in a total of 28 legs and 35,600 nautical miles. Customers can hire berths for one or more legs or charter the entire yacht. In both options, a professional skipper is always on board to guide the Bavaria safely through the long ocean passages and challenging areas in the Pacific or Cape Town. The ship is brand new and is extensively equipped for sailing around the world.
The legs include exciting long distances, such as the Atlantic crossing, the stretch from the Galapagos Islands to the Marquesas or via Lombock through the Indian Ocean to Mauritius. In between are blue water dream destinations that will make every sailor's heart beat faster: Tahiti, Tonga, Fiji, Australia, Cape Town, Salvador on Brazil's east coast. There are both shorter legs, in which customers can sail for just two or even one week, and longer ones, which can last three, four weeks or up to 48 days. The perfect opportunity to gain blue water experience for your own circumnavigation or to fulfil your dream of such destinations.
Prices start at less than 500 euros for the short stages, the two-week stages range from around 900 to 2000 euros depending on the area, and the very long passages of up to 48 days from 2000 to 4798 euros. Information and bookings via the sailing school and training agency Sailpartner or via Mola Yacht Charter. More information about the World ARC, the route, the destinations and the organisation can be found on the Website of World Cruising.
