People from Schleswig-Holstein regularly end up at the top of the happiness atlas: in this respect, those local owners who have their boat in winter storage in one of Kiel's marinas are also lucky. Since Friday (27 March), they have at least been allowed to carry out work on the boat again - as long as they comply with the applicable distancing rules and the ban on contact. However, cranes are prohibited for private owners, and the harbours themselves remain closed both from land and from the sea. This regulates a new harbour authority order.
However, for those owners who have their boat in winter storage in Kiel but do not come from Schleswig-Holstein themselves, the following still applies: Tourist trips to the northernmost federal state are still prohibited.
In Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the following still applies: No access to the harbour and boat for private individuals.
