Good guidance: Caution lines help to prevent lateral displacement. The webbing straps from Wistra should be particularly easy to install

The company Wistra actually specialises in load securing, but now also has a helpful product for sailors in its range. The safety line set with guide essentially consists of two straps that are tensioned between the bridge and the stern posts. Before they are attached, they are guided through two stainless steel eyes. Together with a webbing strap, these form the guide, which is attached to the bow to prevent lateral displacement when mooring and unmooring. This cross strap is a maximum of five metres long and can be adjusted in length, i.e. adapted to the width of the box.

The straps have a breaking load of 2,000 decanewtons and can be printed with the boat's name. They are available in two lengths. The 15 metre length costs 210 euros and the 25 metre length 261 euros.
