Classic look but new material: the boat shoe from Crocs is an exciting alternative to conventional kicks
The Mens Classic Boat Shoe from Crocs is made almost entirely from Croslite, the company's patented foam resin mixture. Only the tongue under the lacing is textile and needs some time to dry. The sole looks smooth, but offers a surprising amount of grip. However, it can't keep up with the shoes with top slip values from previous tests.
However, the Crocs have one major strength: the shoes protect your feet well from stones in the water when you get out of the dinghy. The water drains away through the side openings. The material does not absorb water, so they dry quickly. Only the flap is a little wet. Price: from 45 euros.
