Decathlon's own brand Tribord has launched a new offshore outerwear range. Called Offshore 900, the garment is made from a three-layer laminate that is said to be waterproof up to a water column of 20,000 millimetres and promises high breathability of up to 2,000 grams of moisture wicking per square metre of fabric in 24 hours. The jacket has a high collar, an adjustable hood with fleece and five pockets.
The Open offshore trousers has four pockets and a zip at the back to make going to the toilet easier. It also has abrasion-resistant reinforcements on the knees and buttocks, which are additionally padded with foam. These cushions can be removed from the seat area and are sewn into the knees.
The trousers are only available in red, while the jacket is available in red, blue and black. Both the jacket and trousers cost 255 euros each. That makes a total of 510 euros and is a very fair price for offshore oilskins.
