The operators of the Danish-language website " Juniorbådsregisteret " have built up a comprehensive database on the Folke Junior boat over the past ten years. In addition to the register of boats still sailing, interested parties can also find articles, information, photos and stories. In addition to this documentation, the aim is to get in touch with current owners and others who are interested in the boats.
The current project is the search for J-36 "Dana Mærsk":
"We have been looking for the whereabouts for more than 8 years. The last information we have is from 2008, when the 'Dana Mærsk' was sold from Kiel to Berlin. She is one of three boats that were built in 1937/38, paid for by Danish shipowners and then donated to the Dansk Junior Sejlklub in Flensburg. All three were used as youth boats at the Danish Flensborg Yacht Club until the 1970s. The 'Dana Mærsk' was donated by the well-known shipowner A. P. Møller. All information is welcome, especially historical material about the boats."
Information takes Kim Hegn Hansen from the junior boat register.
