The German manufacturer Alb-Filter calls its two product lines of interest to sailors Travel and Mobile. The Mobile models can be spliced into the filling hose using a Gardena coupling, which means that the water is purified while it is being bunkered and dirt or germs are prevented from entering the tank in the first place. The travelling version can be permanently installed in the drinking water system.
