The Nesto cookware series from Cookvision can be customised and saves space in the cupboard thanks to its stackability. According to the manufacturer, the chrome-nickel stainless steel with sandwich base and aluminium core is particularly durable. The base construction prevents bending and thus ensures even heat distribution. The smooth surface is also said to guarantee easy cleaning.
The glass lids have hinged handles and therefore store particularly flat. The glass is shatterproof and the silicone rim is non-slip. Pan handles and silicone handles are removable and can be freely combined. An airtight lid for keeping food fresh and magnetic trivets that stick to the base of the pan are also available as accessories.
The pans are available with a PTFE coating of your choice. Cookvision assures that this non-stick coating is of a high quality, but offers a special exchange service if it is worn out: "We take back Nesto pans that no longer work properly at any time and promptly deliver a new pan at a significantly reduced special price. The returned pan is sandblasted, sanded and polished and completely recoated - that's what we mean by sustainability," says the company. Another advantage is the removable handles. This means that the pans can also be placed in the oven without hesitation, for example to gratinate a dish.
In total, there are six pots with a volume of 1.3 to 5.1 litres, three pans with a diameter of 20 to 28 centimetres and with or without a non-stick coating, as well as five different glass lids. For on-board use, two or three pots and a pan with matching lids and handles are probably sufficient. The starter set offers this scope for 245 euros. The price for individual pots starts at 35 euros, for lids at 20 euros and for a pan from 50 euros.
